This resort was an attempt to revive the endangered Gurung settlement of Gorkha district. The design approach was to relive the vernacular architecture of the location and merely focused on low-cost design with prioritizing local materials and construction techniques.

This elegant building is a beautiful mixture of modern and traditional design. The brick surkhi on half of the exterior wall perfectly complements the off-white exterior paint on the remaining walls with little details on the railing, windows and the cornices.
